Im all for this. Screw us by leaving kid, you don't go anywhere you want. screw us - screw you then. One thing is for certain, catfish, no school is going to articulate that philosophy, even if that's the way they feel. lol I wouldn't be shocked in the least if spite has some role in Bo's decision to block a transfer to some of the schoools with Jarrod Uthoff. On the other hand, I'd be shocked if he actually ever admitted that in public. |

Here is my take on it, if a kid wants to leave, let him go...I am the head coach and I fear no one. Jarrod Uthoff is not Wilt Chamberlain but you might think Bo Ryan thinks he is. I mean come on, it is like he fears Uthoff and says ooooh, if that kid transfers to a school that we play, he will hurt us. That says Bo has no confidence in his coaching abilities or his team to me. You think I would be scared of any kid who left my team, heck no...I would want to play him in the future and show him he made a mistake. Same thing with the ND kid, come on coaches, be men, this is crybaby playground stuff. Iowa let Ben Brust out of his LOI and let him go to Wisconsin, in fact, I don't know of any kid Iowa has stopped from going anywhere. We fear no one. Go play for whomever you want, if you play us, we will beat you and dominate you. Just ridiculous IMO. Go Blues! |

Uthoff can go to any school that's not in the Big Ten. I have no idea what Uthoff is going to do, but I bet Wisconsin hopes he makes his decision soon. They've been shoved into the spotlight on this one. I'm sure they'd love to have that spotlight on someone else.

The funny thing is if the kid doesn't want to be back in Iowa with the Hawkeyes, then I think he should go to Creighton...which was not on the list anyway, but given McDermott there and the other guys from last year staying, this would be a formidable team. The other, which was a blocked school, is Marquette. Blues win! Red Sox totally suck...boo |

mags-he was basically saying that on espn last night. to me - go ahead and leave us in the lerch but you're not going to go where you want. it's called PAYBACK! ryan also said he can't go to the ACC. a co-worker just said the restrctions were lifted. as for the ND kid Aaron Lynch - he cried about the atmosphere & weather,so he wanted to go back to florida. hey sherlock where do you think south bend, indiana is ? maui ? that is inexcuseable. the weather ? go home sissy. |

a co-worker just said the restrctions were lifted. Not entirely. Like I said in my earler post, Uthoff can go to any school that's not in the Big Ten. |

I'm torn on the Ron Artest incident. Part of me says the guy doesn't have enough of a functioning brain for it to be pre-meditated. The other part? Well, he certainly looked like he meant to do it.
Whether or not he's suspended is not the debate. It's just a question of how many games. If I were him, this would be my strategy. I am, officially, Meta World Peace. Meta World Peace is not a repeat offender. Give me a fine and let's move on. David Stern might view it somewhat differently. |

Good morning all!
Congrats on the Flyers, Cat. I had to look up the Artest incident since I do not do NBA. I agree it looks very intentional. My Royals suck canal water. Have a good one. Phoggy |

No pity here Phoggy. Cat and I aren't talking about the Phillies yet much now either.
Cat...I'll see Miley vs Kendrick tonight ILO Lee vs Hudson. How much good Karma is that? ND is in a turning point year. Kelly is now working with mostly his kids so they need to take the next step. GO Irish |

The Royals are doomed, they will never be good again and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. They just have too much bad luck.

artest is a repeat offender. the malice in the palace when someone threw a beer bottle at him and he went into the stands.
he's an idiot. metta world peace! please. just ban him for the playoffs. flyers are looking good. if the rangers and bruins lose, they get home ice advantage!! nd and kelly makes me mad. aaron lynch left and tee shepherd decommitted. kelly may have his kids, but he's losing recruits too. phillies stink! i made a bet they don't win under 80 games. they can't score! |

My Royals suck canal water.I'm going to go out on a limb and say this isn't good. Then again, although the Brewers aren't in Royals territory, they aren't exacty tearing it up at 7-9. Any significance with the av, phoggy? |

Wilt Chamberlain
My old man actually knew Wilt the Stilt. My Dad was a football player/track runner at Missouri. Wilt chamberlain was also a long jumper at kansas as well as a basketball player and they use to compete with eachother. They even saw eachother several times since their college days. It's kinda cool ![]() |
