I was rooting for U of M but I was kind of glad when South Carolina got the ball back on the next play...that ruling of a first down was simply awful and I don't understand how it could possibly have been ruled as such.

So I think we're at the point where a CBA gets done. Both parties must know a lost season will be a disaster and that that the cut off for the season to be is fast approaching. Now the posturing should be done, and a CBA hammered out before Jan 10. If the union does decertify tomorrow, then please disregard my prior statement. 

So now the question is: How many fans still care?

I care! And as I said a few days ago, a shortened season will be awful but I don't care at this point. I just want to watch some NHL hockey!

The Titans fired VP/COO Mike Reinfeldt....Owner Bud Adams got rid of him because he never secured/signed Peyton Manning for the Titans.
I often wonder how Tennessee would have done this year ???  IF Peyton would have signed for a RUMOURED  25 Million/yr deal....that is a lot of money to pay ONE player and his neck is still an issue...........what if he gets hurt again....could it be career ending ???

I think with Peyton the Titans would have gone 9-7 this year and out of the playoff's.........Tennessee does NOT have the receivers that the Bronco's do.......and he loves to throw the ball........I'm glad the Titans did not sign him.........they will be in the Top 10 for drafting this year and hopefully they pick an Offensive lineman.........the good news is the Tennessee Titans travel this year to Seattle to play the Seahawks.....YAHOO I will get a ticket for sure.

So am I really reading that Hockey is in talks to have MORE playoff teams?  You already let in over half your field.  If you are going to change, the only way to go is less, unless you add more teams, which will water down the overall product.  Can't they leave well enough alone on something that's NOT broken?  Ugh.

Time to realize the players had it too good for too long. For this league to be sucessful, a 50% split is more than fair. There's no point in owning something that costs $200M + to have it lose money. Owners need to be able to make a buck.

You want a pension? How about you save some of your F***ing money and retire with it the way the rest of us do. Give the players a f***ing 401K. There now, Happy?

You want to make 5-10 million as an average player and 25 million as a star? Pick up a bat and ball and get off my f***ing ice.  I just hope that everyone realizes that they've now lost more money than they have be arguing over. With a shortened season revenue will obviously be half of what it should have been. But on top of that, there's no way to calculate what unrealized profits will be lost.
