Selig, as we both agree, is an idiot, the whole ASG thing is his obsession and really what he can control, did you also see the odd schedule for next year?  They are essentially going to have one interleague series pretty much every week next year.  What kills me is that I think interleague has run it's course.  If they are going to go to that schedule, then get rid of the leagues and divisions and just go at it.  It is going to turn old school baseball purists like me off to the game.  I really do not want to see the Astros in the AL, would rather have seen the Brewers back or move one of the expansion teams instead.  Lunacy

Saw parts of that, my wife watched the whole thing, agree, the ending, if I had paid to see it, would have annoyed me, it was predictable anyway, I kept chuckling and telling my wife, hey this is like Titanic...the boat sank.  Back to work for me.

Reading a bit on the Penn State Freeh report, wow...yeah now I am in favor of the Big Ten kicking them out.  I feel for all the students, teachers, athletes and employees there that would be affected and really get caught in the crush, but man, you have to discipline that school, put the football program on death penalty for a few years, what a mess...it's sad.

anyone in the pool have drugs yet?  I go with drugs...guess it wasn't really Stallone who was Expendable but his offspring...hahaha, sorry bad joke.  Really stinks for Sly, but unfortunately this gets publicity and no one cares about the kid who died from cancer yesterday, or the kid who was hit by a drunk driver, guess you gotta have the right name, sure that's cynical, but it's also reality.

Catfish - on the Con thing in baseball, he was online on Friday and I knew Ellsbury was coming off the DL, so I asked him who he was going to drop, he said well I want to see if I can make a trade first.  So that is how I knew that he knew to start him, but he bush leagued it IMO, you are right, it is on him and he could lose stats, but if you look at all his trades and now his pitching staff, he will likely start to take over. 

I do not like to trade with him cause I know what he tries to do, all those guys in his lineup...it's brutal.  I just think he should have done it right and dropped someone.

Hot weather here for the rest of the summer, if it drops below 90 I will be amazed.
