I didn't mean to PM that post at all...here you go Marty.

If E squared is on the table, I may be able to work something out...let me know.

I already mentioned that I was currently targeting the best 3B on any roster...not exactly a secret who we are talking about.

Now can you imagine the excitement Dave would have right now if he hadn't foolishly just dropped E squared for some mediocre SP that he dropped later that week???  We would need to ensure a difibulator was within arms reach.Foot in mouth

ah damn...............no secrets for this kitten, I see how you areWink

not when it comes to my fantasy team...I'm an open book

Dave loves the fact that your gonna lose this week to me and that your scurrying to find a replacement for Longoria

First of all, the outcome of our matchup currently is still clearly in doubt, but make no mistake that I'm still expecting to win this week.  As for next week's matchup vs Dave, it's way too early to make any projection based on the possibility that both of our rosters could change dramatically before next Monday.  Dave must just be kicking himself silly knowing that he could have had two of the Top 5 3B players if he wouldn't have jumped the gun so quickly a couple of weeks ago...c'est la vie

How devastating is that?!  Jonathan Vilma will be suspended the entire upcoming season.  The hammer is coming down on various Saints players.

Alright, guys...I'm out for awhile.  Will check in a little later.  Enjoy the rest of your day, GB10.Smile

Things are looking good for the President's Club as we start out the week with a lead in Week 5 of fantasy baseball.  Our struggle hold on the top spot of the division continues!

Fred,

Chase Headley and Jake Peavy for David Freese and Adam Jones???

What are you smoking?  Why even waste the time sending that ridiculous trade?

Peavy's an elite pitcher???  LOLOL  In April of 2012!  Freese and Jones are tearing it up.  Freese is 2nd in RBI's and has been out for a few games, Jones is hitting clean-up and can hit for power, steal bases, and drive in runs.

Am I getting a BJ with this trade??  Cuz I would still say HELL NO.

Come to me with win-win trades people..

It's going to be tough to make a trade without understanding how different owners value not only their players, but more importantly mine.  I have at least a handful of Top 20 SPs, but I'm guessing that someone will try to tell me that the players listed below are somehow overvalued...(listed in current rankings order)

Jake Peavy (#2)

Ricky Romero (#15)

Brandon Beachy (#20)

Madison Bumgarner (#20)

Yu Darvish (#21)

and I'm not even including Cliff Lee who is ready to come off the DL and Josh Johnson who has a very good K rate and seems to be getting better every week...even Brandon Morrow and Jake Westbrook are solid options.

Now if there is someone out there that is tired of having disappointing results from those mediocre SPs with two starts that are available on the waiver wire blow up, let me know and we will work out a deal.

If you don't like Peavy then simply say so, but don't try to diminish what he's accomplished just because no one projected it at the beginning of the season.  Hell I could say the exact same thing about Adam Jones for that matter, but the stats say otherwise so I don't give a crap about projections from the beginning of the year...now that we are in May imo they are no longer relevant.

Jones is in his mid-20's and a 5 tool player - always had a huge upside.  And is just now coming in to his own - which is why you want him.  And I don't blame you..

Freese is coming off his 2011 WS MVP and is crushing the ball.  Both are hitting .320 with a couple HR's and a good amount of RBI's.  Both of these guys will have great years.

Peavy is in his 30's and has been injury ridden for sometime, along with an offense that make it tough for him to win games.

Maybe Peavy and another stud?   Otherwise it's good for you and not for me.

But I don't want Peavy.  He blew his whad in April and you are trying to get rid of him because you know his whad is almost gone.
