Oly,

Are you still upset that DAT is a better RB than Barner?

The article you reference is one in which it is noted that Barner needs roughly 1400 yards to become Oregons second leading rusher behind LMJ.  I'm not swayed that is evidence of Barner's superiority over DAT.

But do you still not see him as a player that can be the feature back?

The Pac-12 Thread....

Just read a Bleacher report that USC just ot a verbal commit from Ty Isaac, a 6' 2" 220 RB rated five star by Scouts.com. He's out of Joliette, Il. A Catholic school.

That's six commits, 3 5 star, 3 4 star....

It's almost embarrassing.....

Hmm now I read Isaac is the number one ranked RB in the nation. Get your running shoes back on, Pac-12, you're got work to do.....

Depends who you ask

Rivals says Thomas Tyner an Oregon commit is the top RB Isaac is 2
Scout says Isaac is #1 and Tyner is 5
ESPN says Kelvin Taylor(FL) is #1(11 by rival and 13 by scout) Isaac 6 and Tyner 9
Max Preps says Isaac, Tyner, Taylor

OlyDuck, LOL. That figures, we can't even get a consensus on the high school kids rankings. How the heck are we supposed get anything done in CFB.
Still, a big boy and a good catch for the Trojans...

A good day for us geriatics. The B1G's AD's says no to using the Rose Bowl for a playoff venue. This reduces the playoff to a "plus one" and maintains the Rose Bowl as is.

At least EverybodyDuck and I are happy.

The B1G's AD isn't trying to preserve the Rose Bowl, unlike the PAC, he's scared of the SEC.

TJ12, That is a strange state of affairs, having all the school ADs going against the conference president??

Unless, he was appeasing someone and can now shrug helplessly and say not my fault.....

Trucker,

You know I'm happy that the B1G is showing up for the defense of the Rose Bowl.  And, there is no doubt the Presidents in the PAC will join in to preserve "The Granddaddy" of them all.  The Rose Bowl is simply too valuable to College Football to be regulated to being another run of the mill Bowl game.

Where is the pain of the schollie reduction we heard so much about?  I'm not seeing it........

Trojan, I don't think the B1G is afraid to play anybody.....Don't you wish we had their Bowl tie ins!

EverybodyDuck, I think TJ wasn't referring to any fear playing anybody. More along the lines of potentially losing those "bowl tie-ins".

If a scrap developed, say, B1G/Pac with the other conferences, then the B1G has more lose than the Pac. Even TV audiences for the B1G are tied into the east more than us. The east coasters don't watch the Pac-12 much anyways.

There's more to this than meets the eye,I suspect.......
