I noticed you were a ghost for a while, this is as slow as I can rember this thread, and the board in general. Me I got my own medical reasons for the fewer posts as most of you guys know.

Onto ILB, Hopefully Colbert looks at Reddick from NC, had a down year in 2011, but is very active. Everyone is sold on Sean Spence, I am still stuck on prove me wrong mode. Shane Skov is a do it all kind of guy Tomlin will love, however that knee scares the white right out of me.

not sure if I thik Mingo falls that far, or if Lofetui is first overall.  The Homee Blabber is not a top ten pick. He has quickness but his top end speed is very suspect. Add in the fact he will get trucked by the bigger backs in the NFL. David Amerson will be the first CB off the board.

BTW Pete Prisco goes bloats. Pouncey not even in the top 100, and his comment on Troy Polamalu is he is over-rated and only good in run support. What a butt clown. How did this ass basket ever become a Senor Sports Analyst, seriously?

Prisco is a hypocrite. He expects Polamulu to cover like a CB but gives Freeney a free pass for what amounts to zero contribution to stopping the run - makes no sense. Polamalu is a strong safety and at 5' 10", 220 lbs is actually very good in coverage for his size. He could be better at 205-210lbs but the Steelers want him to play like a quasi-LB and he could never hold up at that weight.

p.s. Go to the Balt Sun website and read what Jimmy Smith said about trying to cover NFL receivers at 220lbs and he's 6'2". He dropped 15lbs this offseason to try to match NFL speed.

BB will love this kid, out of tiny Elon College, Aaron Mallette. According to one scout he is a better prospect than Brian Quick. When watching the two teams play, it was his assessment that Mallette will make more noise at the next level.

Beach,  Yep a SS that is better at tackling than coverring WR, and that is a knock on him how?..... Prisco is a jackwagon.

Like the kid already!!!   Too bad we probably wont get a chance to watch Mallette until probalby the east/west shrine game if invited....  but will watch the TV schedule this fall to see if maybe the put an Elon game on the tube during some week.

I think he's a moron. He thinks the NFL is 100% passing and that the Super Bowl is unattainable without it. While true in the technical sense, he's one who completely disregards the running game. It's all passing and a defense is terrible unless it can stop the pass. Which is proof of further stupidity since the Steelers had the NFL's best pass defense last season. He has a major heart-on for the Colts though.

Just wanted to say I saw this thread 2 years ago (don't remember how I stumbled on it), but just wanted to say the work you guys do on here is nothing short of amazing. I followed this thread for the 2012 draft because the Eagles board was completely dead, and the ones of the main NFL board suck. Besides being informative, it was very entertaining as well.

I'm sure there are others like me who found this thread and follow it (while refraining from commenting), so I just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you guys do and providing much better insight than I can get anywhere else.

FYI, there is an NBA thread with over 2M views and an NHL thread (that I actively participate in) that has over 1M views. Sadly, the servers won't crash when you hit 1M, lol.
