If there is such a thing as a lock for the World Series there has to be 1 in LA. Is Anaheim close enough to LA? The Angels have 1 of the best players to come along in years and then send 2 beasts to the plate in Puljos and Hamilton. I've read about how weak thier pitching staff is and can't help but wondering how much more confident they'll be pitching for that lineup.

Everytime I attend a movie lately and see the preview for the "Jackie Robinson" movie I get stoked. It was a great story and he was an extremely good ballplayer and the perfect person to make the leap across the color barrier. I must have like him because every summer I name one of my teams, two this year, after a Negor League team and often use his teams name....The Monarchs"
He was a better athlete than baseball player and not everyone knows that.

So glad baseball is back!!!! Not happy with Harrison's performance though. I have him on my fantasy teams so yeah lol.

It is on like Donkey Kong Geo. Like the MI team.....just like the Cuse better. I could end up being on the road for this game. You are on my route home, we could watch it together, I'll be sporting a lot of Orange though. Thinking I will have to go back to our friends in Richmond and extend the vacay 1 more day. No biggie for me, but my mom has our dogs and wants rid of them as soon as possible.

I forgot to set my line-up too. Computer picked my team and thus my line-up. Play Ball!

Khep, congrats to you and the Cuse, as well as a big congrats to Geo, Class, Rink, Wabbit's hubby and all Meeeeheeeeegggaaaannnn fans for putting a B1G team in the Final Four.


Didn't plan to miss yesterday's games, but the Senora and family put together an Easter shindig out at my nephew's ranch that I could not get out of.  Had fun, ate a lot, and got over a very bad hangover from the previous scotch filled evening after the Buckeyes debacle. 

Phoggy, hope you're feeling better lady.  I do know that it's just a game, and kinda figured what happened would happen.  Buckeyes just got in a rut the previous two games of winning on the last shot, and this time they waited to long to try and pull it out.  Next season.

Wabbit, thanks for leaving some BL for me.  I snuck in yesterday morning, before the Easter gathering, to sample a few brews and get past the previous night's depression.  LOL

My heart goes out to the hurt Louisville player. It was a horrible injury.
his teammates seemed to take inspiration from him though!

Saw the replay on that injury, Stu.  Seen it in football, like Theisman's leg after a hit by LT, but never saw anything like that in basketball.  Terrible and tragic.  Hope the kid can make it back in a year or so. 

Louisville remains the favorite, and only number one seed left, but I think the Cuse or Wolvermeenees could give them a run for their money.  Please not the Snockers. 


And Jonny, baseball has begun!  Reds and Cueto going toe to toe with the revamped LA Angels, it appears dem Tiggers gonna witn their opener too.  Dodgers and Giants a pretty good one to watch, if you like pitching duels.
