Tiny Gallon and Willie Warren went in the second round of the NBA Draft Thursday night. Gallon, a Center-Power Forward to the Milwaukee Bucks and Willie Warren a two Guard, went to the Los Angeles Clippers joining former teammate and former first overall pick Blake Griffin. Highly recruited  point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin, also entered the NBA draft, after just one year at Oklahoma. The 5'10 200 pound Point Guard and former Gatorade player of the Year in Texas, had a very hard time in school as he did through high school as well and basically flunked out of the University of Oklahoma. I think Tommy new he could use another year of college ball to prove himself, but he was not willing to put fourth the effort, in the classroom. Overall Tommy was thought of as a bit of a "head case" on the team and did not bind well with other players on the team. Mason-Griffin, individually though, did prove worthy of being a 4 star recruit as the former McDonald's All American, shot 45% from beyond the perimeter [ 3-point range] and average well over 15 points a game. He showed a lot of promise but size, and character issues caused scouts to not invite him to the annual NBA scouting camps. He likely will be signed to an NBA summer league camp though, if not trying Europe or the D league [the minor leagues to the NBA]. This gives the sooners a respectable five NBA players. Taylor Griffin [Suns], Blake Griffin [Clippers], Willie Warren [Clippers], Tiny Gallon [Bucks], and of course the hardworking Eduardo Najera [Last with the Nuggets].
